The results of the Medical Tourism survey reveals that improvement in the Indian health image would be the biggest gain (84%) with an increase in medical tourism. Nearly the same number felt that it would also lead to improvement in health care. However, 70% of the people (766 people participated in the survey) were of the opinion that this would make doctors greedy while less than half (50%) felt that medical tourism would deny health care to the local population. |
